A soggy climate can bring some fun too. At least that's what one hotel here believes.
Hotel Clarks Shiraz has both the hot and spicy and the sweets to suit the weather. Its "Monsoon Nasha" food fest is attracting both local and foreign tourists.
"I really like Indian food and love to have it every time. This is my second trip to India and whenever I come here, I prefer to have Indian food, especially the masala dosa. I just love it," said Jacob, a foreign tourist.
"I am from San Francisco and there are many Indian restaurants, I usually go there and have food. It's really great having Indian food at Monsoon Nasha," added Aacuba, another tourist.
Sylvester Gomes, the hotel's executive chef, said: "This is the monsoon season and we opt for green vegetables. So, we usually try to make our recipes according to that only. We use different types of vegetables to make the dishes tastier. We cook non-vegetarian fare also to attract foreign customers but it is made totally away from the vegetarian."
