Commander Captain Deepa, co-pilot Deepshika along with cabin crew Sewika, T Ghosh, Sandeepika, Upasana and Chetna were members of the all-women crew flight, the airline said in a statement in Chennai.
The women flew in the return Mumbai-Chennai flight, it said.
Air India Executive Director (Southern Region) Sunil Kishen welcomed the women crew at Chennai airport.
Air India has a contingent of 157 women pilots flying on wide and narrow body aircraft on international and domestic routes. The airline has more than 5,300 women employees on its workforce, the statement added.
