Despite suffering losses of more than Rs 7,000 crore, top Air India executives are getting royal treatment on board.

India's national carrier, which is gasping for funds, has issued an order allowing chairman and managing director, Arvind Jadhav, and his spouse to travel first class on its flights, both for business and leisure.

This latest order also allows the serving chief executive’s parents and children to travel in Air India's business class.

During airlines' economy drive, Air India had made it mandatory for senior officials to fly only economy class.
