Airtel launches calling cards for NRIs
The service, Airtel Home, will be available on prepaid option, which can be bought through the web portal by using a credit or debit card.
India's telecom major, Bharti Airtel, Thursday launched its calling card exclusively for 2.5 million non-resident Indians (NRI) residing in the US.

"We have over 2.5 million NRIs in the US who make over 450 million minutes of calls a months to India. Airtel Home is 40 percent cheaper in price than any other calling card available in the US," Manoj Kohli, president, Bharti Airtel, told mediapersons here.
The card will be available from $5 - $200 with a flat calling rate of 7.9 cents per minute to any phone (mobile or landline).
"For initial registration we are offering double talktime to our customers," Kohli added.
By March 2007 the company has plans to launch similar service to other countries.
