Condemning the attack on Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, Samajwadi Party state President Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday said such incidents should not be repeated in democracy.
"Everyone has right to air his views in democracy and such a protest is condemnable," Yadav said, referring to Saturday's incident in New Delhi, in which black ink was thrown on the Yoga guru's face during a press conference.
Akhilesh also stressed upon bringing back illegal black money allegedly stashed in foreign banks.
On a possible alliance with smaller Muslim outfits in the polls, Yadav said people know SP was going to form a government in the state and the party will take a decision accordingly.
Alleging that the Congress-led UPA government and BSP government in Uttar Pradesh were equally responsible for price rise, Yadav said the hand of Congress has reached to the neck of people, who are feeling suffocated due to unabated price rise.
