Al Pacino's flick rule heist film poll

Award winning actor Al Pacino's movie Dog Day Afternoon has been voted as the best heist film of all time by readers of Empire film magazine.

Director Sidney Lumet's 1975 classic beat another Pacino movie Heat to bag the first place in the poll of readers of the British magazine publication, reports Contactmusic.

Third place was taken by Clint Eastwood's film Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, followed by George Clooney's and Jennifer Lopez's Out Of Sight, which came in fourth.

Inside Man, directed by Spike Lee and starring Denzel Washington, Clive Owen and Jodie Foster rounded off the top five list.
