The Yin Yang Balance
A unique food festival, Yin Yang Festival is being organised at Suryaa’s rooftop pan asian restaurant – Sampan. Ying Yang is technique of balancing food properties. The essentials of Yin-Yang school of thought are divided into two principles, which oppose one another in their actions. The concept of Yin Yang relates to food because it has a sense of balance in color, flavour and textures. Certain foods are believed to be Yin or having cooling properties while others have warm Yang properties. It can be thought of as simply a way to keep life in balance with healthier fare, which compliments and connects the two opposing forces.
