Amar Singh, the former Samajwadi Party leader who now heads the Rashtriya Lok Manch, slipped and fell inside his helicopter in Banda as it was about to take off for an election rally in Lucknow.
“Singh hopped into his helicopter and slipped between two seats. There is no injury due to the slip except back pain,” a spokesperson said.
After landing in Lucknow, Singh was taken to a hospital for general check-up.
The spokesperson also denied reports that the helicopter made an emergency landing in Hamirpur and Singh got injured when he jumped out.
