Amit, Deepali, Priyanshi win gold

AMIT KUMAR, Deepali Jain, Priyanshi Gupta and Shivangi Jhalani have won gold medal in their respective categories in the state-level shooting competition held at Emerald Heights International School.

AMIT KUMAR, Deepali Jain, Priyanshi Gupta and Shivangi Jhalani have won gold medal in their respective categories in the state-level shooting competition held at Emerald Heights International School.

Amit Kumar scored 567 points to win the gold. Jaivardhan Singh of Emerald Heights won the silver medal with 557 points while Gaurav Kumar scored 553 points to win the bronze.

In 10M senior women’s air pistol event Deepali Jain won the gold. In the open side air rifle sub junior girls’ event Priyanshi Gupta won the gold by scoring 250 points. In the 10M peep side air rifle competition Shivangi Jhalani won the gold by scoring 383 points.

Pair bridge from today
MITTAL TIWARI memorial pair bridge tournament organised by Indore Contract Bridge Association will begin tomorrow at Yeshwant Club. ICBA secretary Jitesh Agarwal said all the leading players of the State were expected take part in the tournament. Dr S M Joshi will conduct the tournament.

Adventure activity
ADVENTURE ACTIVITY began at Standard Public School on Friday. School principal T R Brown said that introducing adventure activity would help students gain confidence, courage, determination and concentration. School director Dr N Jha inaugurated the activity while school principal T R Brown welcomed the guests. 

Junior chess
SIDDHANTH BEAT Vatsal in the mini junior chess tournament being organised by Sanjay Kasliwal Memorial Chess Academy at Kanchan Bagh. With this win Siddhanth has advanced to the second round. Sahil Nanda, Samyak Gangwal, P Singh, Mudit Agarwal and S Jain won their respective matches to advance to the second round.
