crop tops

Trends come and go, but some style statements manage to retain their charm season after season. Crop tops fall in that category. Catching the eye of the fashion flock a few seasons back, the appeal of the crop tops just don't seem to reduce.

This edition of the Lakme Fashion Week, too, has been witnessing designers using the hot favourite design in their collection. While they are a favourite with shorts and jeans, they have also found acceptance with traditional wear like saris and even lehangas.

So, whether you are planning a beach vacation or gearing up for a friend's wedding, you know what you shouldn't leave home without.

1If fitted is not your cup of tea, then opt for a sports chic look with a longer-than-usual crop top like the one designed by Amrita Khanna and Gursi Singh of the label, Lovebirds
2Give your sari a modern twist with a crop top-styled blouse and make heads turn just like this model in an Anavila Misra ensemble
3You don't have to add a western touch to your crop top, the one with Indian embroidery, like the one showcased by Deepika Govind, looks as fashionable.
4If you wish to show off your dash board stomach, what better than a fitted crop top. Opt something like this Divya Sheth creation
5You can also opt for the '70s look with flared pants and even throw a bolero in there. Something like what Patine offers
