Joining hands, social activist Anna Hazare and Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Tuesday announced they would jointly fight for a strong Lokpal Bill and to bring back black money stashed in foreign banks.
Hazare, flanked by his team members Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, said he would continue his fight against graft and for a strong and an effective Lokpal Bill.
He had come to Haridwar to muster support in this regard, the Gandhian said at Ramdev's Patanjali Yogpeeth Ashram.
"The Centre must worrry as we are now joining hands," Hazare said.
But, he said, he was not hungry for power and warned the government the fight for the finish had started.
"I am alive because I have a clean image. Otherwise, I would have been killed," Hazare said.
"We will now launch our campaign against corruption on a joint platform with Baba Ramdev," he said.
"From today, we have sounded a bugle against corruption and black money," Hazare said. "We are now together."
Ramdev said he had a long association with Hazare and they would now work jointly against corruption and black money.
"We will hold a one-day hunger strike at Jantar Mantar on March 25," the yoga guru said adding the war against corruption would take a big shape in April-May.
