Another Gurgaon boy to attend Obama swearing-in

Yet another boy from Gurgaon has bagged the opportunity to participate in the four-day gala in Washington DC when Senator Barrack Obama is sworn in as the 44th President of the United States this month. The residents of Nirvana Country, Adithya Vardarajan is currently studying as an undergraduate in the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Earlier, DLF City resident and International Baccalaureate student of G.D. Goenka World School, Kuber Singh also received a similar invitation to attend the Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference (PYIC) by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC).

The beaming 20-yr-old Adithya Vardarajan said he’d get to interact with figures like Colin Powell and Al Gore on the very first day of the four-day long celebrations, "During the interactive session with these leaders I would put across India's concern on terrorism," said Vardarajan, a final-year student of mechanical engineering (product design).

Adithya Vardarajan did his schooling from Sanskriti, New Delhi.

Now he is a Dean's Merit List holder a and one of the outstanding students selected to represent Ann Arbor at the Presidential Inauguration.

He will be witnessing history being made Barrack Obama is sworn in as the US President. His father S. Vardarajan is the co-promoter of Quattro BPO Solutions and his mother is a social activist. When asked why he did not choose information technology like his father, he said he wanted to be creative and invent designs.
