Anupam Kher to direct stepson Sikandar!

Sikandar Kher's debut vehicle Woodstock Villa might not have worked at the box-office, but he will now try his luck with Anupam Kher's next. The newcomer's second movie Summer 2007 had also bombed.

Anupam, who will produce as well as direct the film will shoot the film in India and overseas. The film is already in pre-production phase and the script is in place.

Sikandar however is not ready to spill the beans as yet. "This will be Anupam Kher's second film as a director (the first was 2003's Om Jai Jagdish). He's mighty excited with the prospect of directing Sikandar in this flick," a source confirms to a daily.

The film will be a romantic comedy. Adds the source, "Sikandar has not dabbled with comedy yet. Woodstock and Summer were serious roles, this one will be a refreshing change. Anupam is currently out of the country and will start casting once he's back."
