Army chief general Bikram Singh arrived in Jammu on Wednesday morning. The chief laid the wreath at the bodies of five jawans who died in an ambush by Pak soldiers and terrorists in Poonch sector on Monday.

The army chief is scheduled to visit forward posts in Poonch and also the site of incident, but because of inclement weather, hasn’t been able to reach there and is camping at army base camp in Nagrota, 30-km from Jammu city.
