Ash-Abhi wedding a threat to Liz-Nayar nuptials!

Liz Hurley and Arun Nayar proppsed grandiose wedding may be defeated by the wedlock of two of India's biggest stars.

Liz Hurley’s wedding to beau Arun Nayar may be the ‘Wedding of the Year’ for the rest of the world, but unfortunately for the actress, her Indian ceremony might just be overshadowed by the union of two the country’s biggest starts – Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan.

The Bristish beauty’s wedding to Indian born beau Arun Nayar was going to be quite a crowd puller, with some of the biggest names in Hollywood dropping in to wish the couple.

However, as it turns out, Hurley and Nayar are no match for the ‘desi’ couple, who also happen to be two of the most recognisable faces in India.

Rai’s agent Hari Singh confirmed that the wedding was likely to take place "very soon" – something that has people wondering whether or not the dates will clash with Hurley and Nayar’s ceremonies.

As for the Indian press, well they already seem to be more excited about the Abhi-Ash union than the Liz-Nayar one, if the media coverage the couple has got is any indication.

A Bollywood insider said revealed that like any bride, Hurley would probably not like being upstaged by another woman on her wedding day.

"No bride likes to be upstaged and I'm sure Liz is no different. These are two of our biggest stars and they are expected to have a massive wedding - elephants included," the Daily Mail quoted the source, as saying.

Hurley and Nayar have already revealed that their Indian wedding will take place over the course of five days, with ceremonies being held in Udaipur and Mumbai.

Their guest list includes the likes of Hugh Grant, Sir Elton John, and David and Victoria Beckham.

Abhishek and Aishwarya’s wedding, on the other hand, will most likely have one venue – Mumbai, but will see some of the biggest personalities from the world of sports, politics, business and entertainment attending.
