Astronomy Olympiad ends

The ninth Astronomy Olympiad of the MP Vigyan Sabha concluded at the Regional Science Centre on Monday with a question answer session and prize distribution to the winners of the eighth Astronomy Olympiad held last year.

The ninth Astronomy Olympiad of the MP Vigyan Sabha concluded at the Regional Science Centre on Monday with a question answer session and prize distribution to the winners of the eighth Astronomy Olympiad held last year.

Project coordinator of Regional Science Centre Prabal Roy, general secretary of MP Vigyan Sabha S R Azad and education officer of RSC V V Raigaonkar were present.

Earlier, the doubts of the students regarding astronomy were cleared by spokesman K M Jain.

On Sunday, the students participated in various activities. Out of all the activities sky-watching programme in the night coordinated by Shaukat Chandra of Ujjain was quite interesting. The queries of the participants regarding sky watching and astronomy in general were answered by Raigaonkar and Azad on Sunday night.
