Opposition to Arvind Kejriwal's road show, if any, was only symbolic.

A handful of BJP supporters at Teliyabagh raised Modi slogans and waved traditional victory sign at Arvind Kejriwal as his vehicle passed through.

Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal's lieutenant, standing next to party leader in an open jeep, threw garlands in return at Modi supporters. The AAP workers were also cautious not to overact and prevent the situation from taking a serious turn.

At the district court, when Kejriwal was on his way to the collectorate to file his nomination papers, a group of lawyers raised slogans against the AAP convener. Barring these two incidents, there was no opposition to Kejriwal during his entire road show.

The district administration, however, was cautious not to allow repeat of previous incidents of attack on Kejriwal.

Ink attack by a high power pressure gun, black flags and anti-Kejriwal slogans marked the first road show of AAP convener in Kashi on March 25.
Not willing to take any chances, the district administration threw a cordon of ATS commandoes around Kejriwal for his road show. Around 15 commandoes walked with Kejriwal's jeep throughout the roadshow.

To assist ATS commandoes, PAC personnel and police force from several police stations also walked till the end with the procession, which ended at the Nadesar tri-crossing.

After a brief address in which Kejriwal attacked Narendra Modi, he moved ahead along with his supporters to file nomination.

Govind Ram Kejriwal and Radha Kejriwal, parents of the AAP convener, too were present on a separate vehicle during the road show.

AAP supporters, however, violated model code of conduct, breached the barricading and entered prohibited area. Cops had a tough time in controlling unruly mob of AAP supporters. A scuffle also took place between media persons and cops providing security cover to Kejriwal at the collectorate.

AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal had to face barrage of questions from scribes about party leader Shazia Ilmi's controversial statement asking Muslims not to be secular when they vote this time.
Kejriwal parried all questions on his colleague Ilmi.
"I am overwhelmed by response from people of Kashi. They will vote for Aam Aadmi Party," Kejriwal said.
Politicians hopping from one place to another by a helicopter would be rejected by voters of this historic city, he added.
The former Delhi chief minister was referring to Narendra Modi's proposed criss- crossing of the city by a helicopter.
For security reasons, Modi would be flying down to BHU by a helicopter and to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth from BHU also by a helicopter.
