Yoga guru Baba Ramdev began the second phase of his 10,000 km Bharat Swabhiman Yatra on Tuesday in Jhansi on a strident note, saying he wanted to awaken people on the issues of corruption and black money salted away abroad.
He called the central government a "sinner" but thanked UP chief minister Mayawati.
He said his campaign against corruption was unstoppable and he would not rest until the "Rs 4 lakh crore" of black money returned to the country.
"The people of the country now know who these people (without naming anyone) are," he said before launching the yatra.
He, however, avoided speaking about the fast by Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi or his association with the BJP.
"I am not a spokesman of the BJP," he said.
He strongly defended his associate Balkrishna, saying he was from India and not Nepal.
"I have full confidence in the judiciary and I hope a great man like Balkrishna will be exonerated."
