Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice is considering adopting - if she can't have children of her own, that is.
The 30 year old former Spice Girls singer is hoping to start a family with long term boyfriend Jade Jones.
And although the singer is hopeful she will conceive, she and Jade are ready to give a home to an underprivileged child.
"Obviously I'd like to try for my own first but I would be open to adoption," The Post Chronicle quoted her, as saying.
In 2000, Emma had pre-cancerous cells removed from her cervix, shortly after which she was diagnosed for endometriosis - a condition that makes it difficult for the sufferer to bear children.
"I'd like to have a baby soon, maybe in the next few years; my endometriosis is still a worry. But I've learned from people around me to be positive. Of the people I know with it, 90 per cent have gone on to have children," she said.
The blonde star, who is currently appearing on British ballroom dancing show 'Strictly Come Dancing', released her new album 'Life In Mono' this week, which she reveals is her most honest record to date, and in which she sings about her relationship with Jade, her love for her nephew and turning 30.
