Chairman of the Gujjar Arakshan Sangharsh Samiti, Kirori Singh Bainsala on Thursday told the community’s BJP MPs, MLAs, Pradhans, Sarpanches, Panches and others to tender their resignations immediately or face a social boycott. He told them they would be banned from entering areas inhabited by Gujjars in Rajasthan unless they put in their papers.

Bainsala issued this directive to elected representatives of the BJP to re-establish his leadership of the Gujjar community. He said, “These BJP leaders must join the agitation to pressurise the state government to support the community's demand for ST status.”
