A leading German newspaper Bild has once again attacked England soccer captain David Beckham’s family, claiming that the soccer star’s wife suffered from cellulite.
A headline in the paper’s yesterday’s edition said - “what was going on with the ‘bumps’ on the back of the former Spice Girl's legs”. It also carried Victoria’s pictures alongside showing her wearing a pair of blue denim shorts.
The pictures were published after she and the rest of the England WAGs (wives and girlfriends) endured an arduous journey back to their Baden-Baden base following the game against Sweden in Cologne.
The paper quoted a dermatologist as saying that it doesn't matter how thin you are, “cellulite can still strike”.
This is the second successive occasion when the Bild chose to target Becks’ family. Only last week, it had described his sister as "fat" and his children as "dwarves". The paper later evoked criticism from Beckham, who said: “I find it sad that someone drops to that level.”
Besides calling Post as suffering from cellulite, the paper also ‘reported’ that she has a bald spot in her head. The paper said: “Despite her attempts to hide it, a small bald patch was visible as she stepped off her flight to Canada from Germany, where she has been staying with the other WAGs, while their menfolk compete in the World Cup. Mrs Beckham, 32, is a big fan of hair extensions, which are woven into the hair and glued or heat-sealed in place.”
