A sales manager of a private bank has been booked for allegedly raping his colleague after drugging her. The other allegation is that the accused took objectionable pictures of the complainant and was blackmailing her.

The police registered a case on April 8 against the 35-year-old man and his female accomplice but are yet to arrest anyone in the case.

Swati Kumar (name changed) said, “This man put something in my cold drink and then exploited me sexually. Another woman clicked my pictures. Since then, I have paid him around Rs 2.5 lakh to get back the pictures,” she said.

Ghaziabad Superintendent of Police (SP) A.K. Vijeta said the man was booked under sections 376 and 328 of IPC.
