The climax of school life and beginning of young adult life is marked by Class 12 board when we cross the threshold of carefree life and start worrying about our careers.
Besides worrying about getting into a good college, the pressure of clearing entrance examinations and living up to parents' expectations hound us. Besides, many of us are emotional about leaving school and schoolmates.
I am no different from any other Class 12 student who may be facing such problems.
However, it's our choice - whether we want to get bogged down in worries or take it easy.
Instead of letting these problems toll over my studies, I practice meditation and relaxation techniques that help me maintain my poise and calm whenever I feel stressed out. Every evening, I go out for a stroll which helps me to ease out a bit. Taking regular breaks also refreshes me a lot.
Besides, do good research on your career choice. Have multiple options in mind so that if unfortunately you don't get the subject of choice, you can at least opt for another subject. I am pretty clear on this, if I don't successfully clear my entrance examinations then I will try for a career in research.
Friends, do well in your board examinations and be open to Plan B.
