For the second consecutive day, a huge swarm of bees invaded the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack interrupting the Ranji Trophy Plate division final match being played between Orissa and Himachal Pradesh.
As the bees descended on the ground, the players and umpires had to take cover by falling flat.
The bees held up proceedings for about a minute before flying away.
The bees had stopped play for about two minutes on the first day of the tie on Sunday. They had also interrupted the semi-final match between Orissa and Assam on January 10.
The Orissa Cricket Association (OCA) authorities had cleaned up several huge beehives hanging from the roof of one of the galleries before the India-West Indies second ODI here on January 21.
But the bees have not stopped bothering the OCA authorities making an appearance off and on.
