Bhopal division pile up 322 runs

BHOPAL DIVISION consolidated its position scoring 322 runs in their first innings on the second day of the U-15 A W Kanmadikar Trophy being played against hosts Indore division at the ITI grounds on Friday.

Resuming at the over night score of 197/4, the remaining batsmen of Bhopal played well and took their team’s score above 300 runs. Dhananjay scored 37 while Sourabh made a patient 39.

For Indore, Akshay Gautam captured three wickets while Saransh Jain and Kunal Babbar took two wickets each. Chasing the score of 322, host Indore lost their two wickets after scoring 50 runs. At the end of the day's play, Gaurav Pable and host skipper Lakhan Patel were batting at 15 and one runs respectively.

Saturday is the last day of play and Indore division is depending on both the not out batsmen as they have shown their mettle in previous matches and are in good form.

A couple of early wickets in the morning had put host Indore on the back foot.
