BHOPAL SENIORS team entered into semifinal after trouncing Railways Club by nine wickets in a quarterfinal of the Rakesh Soni memorial masters cup cricket competition being played at the Babe-e-Aali stadium under the aegis of the Bhopal Veterans Cricket Association.

BHOPAL SENIORS team entered into semifinal after trouncing Railways Club by nine wickets in a quarterfinal of the Rakesh Soni memorial masters cup cricket competition being played at the Babe-e-Aali stadium under the aegis of the Bhopal Veterans Cricket Association.

After winning the toss, Railway captain decided to bat first. The decision didn’t favour the captain as the entire team was bundled out for 141 runs in 25 overs. Bhopal Seniors’ captain Majid Raza Khan took four wickets by conceding 20 runs.
In reply, the Bhopal Seniors batsmen achieved the target in just 16 overs. Their opening batsmen added 136 runs in partnership.

Bhopal Seniors’ Majid Raza Khan was declared man of the match. In tomorrow match, Hoshangabad Seniors will clash with Professors XI.
