Director R. Balakrishna's eagerly-awaited role-reversal drama Paa, which has Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role, has been postponed by a month to avert a clash with the other Big B starrer Teen Patti.
Apparently Big B personally requested the producers of Teen Patti to not allow it to clash with Paa, which will now hit the screens on December 4.
"We were supposed to release on November 13. But that was only two weeks after another Amitabh Bachchan starrer Aladin. And we couldn't ask Aladin to shift. They've gone through too many delays," Balki told IANS before leaving for patchwork shooting in Lucknow Tuesday.
Also starring Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan, Paa is about a child within a man and a man within a child and the director wanted to release it Nov 13 as a tribute to Children's Day.
"Though Paa is set in Lucknow, this is the first time I'm visiting the city in my entire life," added Balki.
