Brazil got crushed during their semifinal match and the press was flooded with pictures of men, women and children crying. The most popular was of an old man crying with the replica of the World Cup trophy. This seemingly ordinary man showed his wonderful spirit for the beautiful game by giving away his trophy to a young German along with the words: "Llévala the final. As you can see, is not easy but you deserve. Congratulations.(sic)"
But this isn't lifelong Brazilian fan's first ever outing, he has been supporting Brazil in the World Cup since the 1990's. He calls himself the Brazil's 12th player and quite famous in the host country. Many consider him Brazil's number one fan. He always supports them, no matter what the tournament.
Such sportmanship in a fan is really admirable. His undying spirit and cheerful attitude makes the Brazil defeat more heartbreaking. Nevertheless, there is the 2018 World cup for Clovis, may his luck shine for Brazil in Russia.
