The Police on Sunday recovered 45 detonators from a house in a locality coming under Adampur police station area in Bihar's Bhagalpur town even as a minor boy sustained injuries while fiddling with one of the detonators, a police officer said.

Acting on a tip off, the Police raided the house of one Dilip Kumar Mandal and seized 45 detonators, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vivek Kumar said.

According to SSP Kumar Mandal had managed to escape before the police arrived. A case has been registered against him under the arms act and a probe was on to find out from where he had bought the explosives and the purpose behind it.

Meanwhile, a minor boy Kandarv Kumar, son of Mandal's tenant Manoj Kumar Jha, sustained injuries while fiddling with one of the detonators, SSP Kumar said.

The injured boy has been admitted to a hospital, he added.
