"Today's attack is the outcome of a failed international diplomacy, the impact of which is being felt all around. Indian diplomacy needs to be improved in such a way that the cause of Indians abroad are taken care of," party spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy told reporters.
The main opposition party called upon the UPA government to be more attentive to the cause of Indians living outside.
"Union government should take immediate action in this direction and ensure the safety of life and wealth of each countryman living outside," he added.
