THE BJP would organise ‘Jail Bharo’ agitation at all the district headquarters in the State on February 19 to protest against rising prices of essential commodities.
Stating that prices of wheat, rice, pulses, sugar and edible oils have seen a steep rise due to wrong policies of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre, the State BJP said that nominal reduction in prices of petrol and diesel would not make much different to common people, who are feeling ‘crippled’ due to ever-rising prices of essential commodities.
During the ‘Jail Bharo’ agitation on February 19, public meetings and rallies would be organised at all the district headquarters before party workers court arrest as a mark of protest against rising prices.
The BJP State secretary Arvind Bhadoria address the public meeting at Bhopal, Dr Radhasharan Goswami at Bhopal (rural), Umashankar Gupta at Betul, Rajesh Dogre at Hoshangabad, Rameshwar Sharma at Harda, Dhruvnarayan Singh at Raisen, Alok Sharma at Vidisha, Usha Chaturvedi at Sehore and Madanlal Tyagi at Rajgarh.
Party leaders, who will lead the rally and address public meetings at other districts, have also been designated.
