Refuting strongly the allegations leveled against him for calling BJP president Ashok Khajuria as an NC’s peddle, the BJP Kisan Morcha president Sukhnandan has termed it as propaganda raked up by some inimical forces trying for a wedge in the party.

“I never called him as such as I hold great respect for the president,” said Sukhnandan while talking to the HT.

He however clarified the situation that had arisen a day earlier due to some misunderstanding over a protest launched by him against government for not providing adequate fertilizers to the farmers.

“Though the BJP president had stressed for a protest inside the secretariat, I insisted for going it open among the people so that the information may be easily circulated through the media about the government’s nonchalant approach towards providing adequate fertilizers to the farmers,” said Sukhnanadan.

He however agreed to have entered into a discussion with the party cadre over the issue of his resigning the post of president of Kissan Morcha to tune his energy on the welfare of his constituency Marh.

“My origin is from the farming community and I can leave the post of any authority to be among my people in the Marh whose prime avocation is farming only. And fighting for their cause to procure them water, fertilizers and electricity is my prime concern,” said the BJP MLA from Marh adding that while in the party he would try to bringing justice and security to the people of his constituency.

Later Sukhnanadan joined the party president Ashok Khajuria for a sit in dharna at Press club among the Agricultural technocrats who are demanding the regularization of their services.
