National Conference on Sunday said that the BJP-PDP "nexus" to create communal and regional divide in Jammu and Kashmir has activated again in order to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the state.
By announcing a programme to unfurl National flag by BJP in Lal Chowk, the BJP-PDP nexus is trying to disturb the peaceful atmosphere, NC spokesperson Ajay Sadhotra and vice chairman Kissan Development Board (KDB) Rashpal Singh said in a joint statement here.
They alleged that the BJP is "exploiting" people of the country, projecting as if it is the first time that the National flag is being unfurled in Srinagar.
It is the design of BJP-PDP to create communal and regional divide in the state and put hurdles in the effort of coalition government to create peaceful atmosphere, they said.
The people of Jammu and Kashmir have a bitter experience of 2008 and we are sure that people of the state shall frustrate their evil design, they added.
Sadhotra said that Article-370 as enshrined in Indian Constitution, is an edifice for centre-state relationship.
