On Union law minister Salman Khurshid promising 9% sub-quota for Muslims in Uttar Pradesh, he accused the Congress of creating a wedge in society in the name of religion.
The BJP would oppose any such "unconstitutional" move, he asserted.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's recent explanation to the Election Commission was also unprecedented, Rajnath Singh said.
He opposed the FDI in retail saying all the BJP-ruled states would not allow this.
