A delegation of BJP on Monday protested against the recent attacks on Indian students in Australia at country's consulate in South Mumbai.

A group of about 30 party activists went to the Australian consulate located in the business district of Nariman Point where they shouted slogans against the attacks on Indian students.

The delegation also submitted a memorandum to Australian consulate officials saying they would not let the consulate function if any more Indian students were attacked in Australia.

The protest was peaceful and no participant were detained for their involvement, police officials said.
