FORMER MINISTER and Congress MLA Ajay Singh on Friday condemned the incident at Raja Bhoj airport yesterday in which some BJP and BJYM activists had allegedly bashed up policemen on security duty.

The manner in which persons associated with the RSS and allied outfits are taking liberty with the law & order in the State makes it clear that there is no law in the State anymore, the Congress leader said.

He said after the media, administration, academicians and police, judiciary could well be their next target and nobody should be surprised if some judges are ‘attacked’ by the goons of saffron brigade in near future.

He alleged that efforts were being made to shield the BJP and BJYM activists, who bashed up a Sub Inspector and smashed the windscreen of jeep of Superintendent of Police (City) and the ‘fact’ that the accused were booked under minor sections of the IPC and bailed out from the police station amply spoke about the political patronage they enjoyed.
