THE BRITISH Library organised the annual ‘Guess-the-Winner’ contest for The Man Booker 2006 shortlist. The Library has also organised an exhibition of the six shortlist titles for The Man Booker 2006 prize. The annual contest for the library members is on from 1 - 8 October.
Members are requested to drop in their choice of winner at the drop box available at the library by 7 pm on October 8. The library member who makes the correct guess will get a copy of the winning title. In case more than one member make the correct guess, lucky draw will be conducted to choose the winner.
The Man Booker 2006 winner receives £50,000 with a guaranteed increase in sales and recognition worldwide. Each of the six short listed authors, including the winner, receives £2,500 and a designer bound edition of their own book.
