A bomb exploded in the main branch of the ICICI Bank in Lucknow on Thursday, followed by the recovery of two bags of crude bombs, police said, adding that nobody was injured in the blast.

"According to eyewitnesses, a bag kept near the cash deposit counter exploded at around 5 pm," deputy inspector general of police (Lucknow) Prem Prakash told reporters.

Police also recovered two carrybags from the bank branch in the Hazratganj locality.
