BMC demolishes illegal construction

BHOPAL MUNICIPAL Corporation?s (BMC) anti-encroachment squad today demolished illegal construction in nearly 500 square feet area on house number 49 of the Nishat Colony. The house belongs to Vilasrao Lad.

BHOPAL MUNICIPAL Corporation’s (BMC) anti-encroachment squad today demolished illegal construction in nearly 500 square feet area on house number 49 of the Nishat Colony. The house belongs to Vilasrao Lad.

The owner had made illegal constructions in the basement in violation of the building permission. Despite BMC notices, illegal constructions were not removed.

Today under the direction of town planner Sanjay Mishra the illegal construction was demolished. BMC’s squads also removed 1,650 posters and seized 270 banners under the Madhya Pradesh Property Anti-Defacement Act, 1994. The drive is aimed at taking action against those who are sullying the scenic beauty of the City.

The joint campaign is going on at the directive of Mayor Sunil Sood and under the direction of BMC Commissioner Manish Singh.
