The body of a missing mountaineer was traced at the Shitidhar Peak (16,000-ft high) in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday after a massive search operation launched by a rescue team of Manali's Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports.

Three mountaineers, including a British national, were killed in a landslide last week when they were scaling the peak. The bodies of a Ladakh resident and the British national were recovered a day later.

The family members of Sanjay Kumar arrived in Manali to take the body after a postmortem examination.
