Highlight Story

Title: Wetlands
Author: Charlotte Roche
Publisher: HarperCollins
Price: Rs 560

The book is a peep into the outrageous, bordering on disgusting, thoughts of Helen Memel, an 18-year-old German, who’s suffering from hemorrhoids and has been hospitalised.

Laid out on a hospital bed with a literal pain in the behind, the girl ruminates over her sexual encounters giving the reader extreme graphic details.

But the highlight of the book is the girl’s obsession with tasting cum, sniffing slime and smelling crap. She fantasises about having pizza splattered with sperm and says she “doesn’t give a shit about hygiene.”

Charlotte Roche’s first book is as shocking as it is disgusting. Controversy made it a bestseller in Germany so make sure you don’t read this ‘filthy’ book while having your meals!
