It may sound surprising but it's true that a train was forcibly stopped at several points during its journey by some people looking for a missing bovine.

The incident took place in Danapur rail division between Karisath and Sikariya railway stations. The passengers had to face a lot of trouble due to these unwanted interruptions.

Some local farmers in search of a missing buffalo forced the 565 UP Patna-Mughalsarai passenger train to stop several times by cutting the vacuum pipe on Sunday.

These farmers boarded the train at Karisath station. They apparently found it easier to look for the missing buffalo travelling on a train rather than walking on foot under the scorching sun. They forced the train to run like a bullock cart stopping it every time they saw a group of buffalos grazing in the field.

However, they failed to locate their missing bovine and got down at Sarvodaya and Ramanand Tiwari halts.
