Naresh Gupta, whose three-year-old son was kidnapped on Monday morning from outside his house, is the senior vice-president and chief of India operations, Adobe.
Adobe serves an established base of customers who are publishing content on paper, electronically or over the web. Rashmi Soni, spokeswoman for Adobe, said: “There is nothing from us to say at the moment except that police are at his home. Naresh is on his way back from the US.”
Before joining Adobe, Gupta worked as principal scientist and director of the applied artificial intelligence (AI) group at LNK Corporation — a company funded by the US Department of Defense to develop solutions for image and pattern recognition, target tracking, data mining, and data fusion and compression. Gupta is a gold medallist from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur from where he did B. Tech in computer science. He did his post graduation in computer science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
