A 12-year-old boy was thrown out of a running train allegedly by RPF jawans in Muzaffarpur, police sources said.

The boy identified as Salahuddin picked up a quarrel with the jawans of Railway Protection Force when the latter asked him to show his ticket, sources said.

As he refused to obey the RPF jawan's diktat, they threw him out from the running train near Kudhani railway station Thursday afternoon, they said.

When contacted, Superintendent of Sri Krishna Medical College Hospital DK Thakur said the doctors had to amputate the left leg of the boy because of the accident.

The boy was still in coma, he revealed. Meanwhile, police have launched raids to capture the RPF jawans, who managed to escape at Kudhani, they said.
