Brajesh, Suhail guide Bhopal to victory

HALF CENTURIES by Brajesh Tomar and Suhail Masood helped Bhopal division defeat Sagar division by 91 runs in the Masters Builder Madhavrao Scindia One Day Inter-Divisional Cricket tournament organised by MPCA and played at the University grounds on Tuesday. J P Cement Rewa sponsors the tournament.

Bhopal won the toss and opted to bat first and scored 256/5 in 50 overs. Brajesh Tomar and Suhail Masood batted brilliantly and scored 54 and 56 runs respectively. Murtaza Ali scored a brisk 30 runs.

Sagar Division started off with a bang as their opener Shan-e-Alam was making quick runs before losing his wicket after making 24. Praveen Lokrus started to consolidate the innings but was losing partners at the other end. 

Sagar were bundled out for mere 165 runs and lost the match by 91 runs. Sunny Bhatnagar, Mudassar Pasha and M Ansari took two wickets each. On Wednesday, State Bank of Indore would meet Sagar division.
