If you enjoy a nice brunch to keep you going throughout the day in the winters, the scorching summer heat shouldn’t stop you from enjoying a lavish spread. Though you can’t sit out in the open for enjoying your brunch like in the winters, there are many eateries in the city that will treat you indoors with the right ambience, perfect air conditioning and specialised brunches with cuisines from around the world.
“We have many people coming in for brunches at this time of the year too. So, we make sure that entire outlet is centrally air conditioned,” says Akshaye Anand of 1 Boulevard. Here are some places in Delhi where you can comfortably enjoy a brunch in this hot weather.

Kylin

Visit this place for a Japanese brunch. Out of the many options available here, the one that you might love is the unlimited sushi — salmon, tuna, carrots, cucumber and many more. Another thing to try out here is the Tempura, a deep fried Japanese starter. You can also go in for the Yakitori — grilled vegetables served with Teriyaki sauce. They also have dimsums with prawns, chicken or vegetable fillings. While here, enjoy unlimited beer.

This place has a number of oriental dishes from Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and China. The popular dishes available here are the Vietnamese Noodle Soup, Lemon Grass Chicken, Thai curry and hand stretched Tibetan noodles. Try out the Malaysian Platter that comes with steamed fish in banana leaves. Those with a sweet tooth can either try a berimisu dessert made with summer berries or a fresh almond jelly topped with fresh cherries.

You can also try out thin crust pizzas with pepperoni, pork, chicken or simply veg. While here, you should not miss the items available at the grilled section. Go for the Australian lamb chops or a stuffed Israeli chicken. They also serve a variety of pastas and lasagnas.

Our pick: Judgment Day Burger, a nine inches burger that serves two to three people. It is available in both veg and non veg.

Ploof Deli Kitchen
Check out this place for an all European brunch. Start from a granola or a pancake with yoghurt and maple syrup. In starters, you can also try a Brochette open sandwich or a smoke cheese roll. You can then go for a Deli cold cut platter that consists of Milano salami, royal salami and a Spanish ham. The other things to try out here are pasta with goat cheese and mushroom, pork chops and Spanish omelet.

Our pick: Grilled sea bass — a fish speciality that comes with charred bell peppers, mayonnaise and potato, garnished with lemon butter sauce.

You can also go for delicacies like egg soup served with mutli grain bread, Shawarmas, New Zealand lamb chops in red wine, Chicken Satay and smoked salmon with Lemon Digon. After brunching on all these, you can try out some sugar-free deserts.
