BSF constable ends life at Bhondsi

A Border Security Force (BSF) constable allegedly hanged himself from a tree in a training centre at Bhondsi on Monday. The incident was reported from BSF security group training centre, Sohna Road.

The victim has been identified as Kanwal Singh, 28. His body was handed over to the family after post-mortem, police said. The cause of suicide is being investigated.

Singh was a resident of Kharrd Alipur village (Hisar) and was posted at the training centre, five months ago. Earlier, he was posted at Tripura in 150 BSF battalion.
According to his friends he had returned from his leave on March 18 and was upset, police have not found any suicide note.

Woman robbed of chain
A South City Phase-1 resident was allegedly robbed of her chain by a bike-borne snatcher. She was walking towards her car on MG Road when the incident took place. A case was registered at the sector 29 police station.
