BHARAT SANCHAR Nigam Limited (BSNL) has restarted its ‘Dial Free’ and ‘Free Phone’ plans from January 5. According to a BSNL release, under the ‘Dial Free’ plan, a BSNL landline subscriber could make unlimited free calls to any person within the tehsil.
But, there is a catch in it. The subscribers registered under plan having monthly rental of Rs 250 and above are only eligible to enjoy the facility.
Under the second ‘Free Phone’ plan, a landline phone can be booked in urban areas by paying Rs 200 and the subscriber would get an Indian Telecom Card worth Rs 200, along with the connection. Whereas, landline connection could be booked by paying Rs 100 and a card worth Rs 100 would be given to the subscriber.
As per the release, in some selected rural areas like Gouharganj a landline connection could be booked by paying Re 1 only.
Both the plans would be effective for a month only, with effective from January 5, the release added.
