ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATES for B Ed students will be distributed by Barkatullah University between August 30 and September 15. Students who have passed their eligibility exam from outside the State, but are domiciled in MP will have to take eligibility certificates.
Those students who have passed their higher secondary and graduation exams from MP and are domiciled here do not require to take eligibility certificates.
Students will have to apply for eligibility certificates through their colleges and the principals will forward it to universities after getting it countersigned from the MP Board of Secondary Education. Between August 30 and September 15, eligibility certificate fee will be Rs 150 while between September 16 and 30 it will be Rs 250 inclusive of late fees.
The university has said only students who have scored 50 per cent mark in eligibility exam (45 pc for backward classes) will be eligible to take admission to the B Ed course. Even 49.99 pc marks would not be considered.
