At least four people were confirmed dead and 15 others injured when a bus bumped into a truck in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the local government said on Friday.
The bus carrying 19 people was en route from the Nandan county to downtown Hechi, a city close to the regional capital of Nanning, when it had a head-on collision with a heavy-duty truck on a National Highway on Thursday afternoon.
A spokesman of the Nandan county government said the bus driver was overtaking a tractor and did not see the coming truck.
Three passengers died on the spot and all the others aboard the bus were injured.
A fourth passenger died at the Nandan county hospital on Thursday night, Xinhua news agency reported.
One more victim was still in danger after an operation overnight, doctors at the hospital said on Friday.
